It is a sweet Venetian summer morning, the light bounces off the park's trees drawing a swarm of white and luminous splinters. In the shade of an olive tree, in a garden lapped by the sea, Norma and Mario are about to meet for a very important date, one that changes the course of existence. They will be declaring the vows of an eternal love. To mark such a significant moment one flower would be needed, Mario instinctively plucks a blooming olive branch from a tree and offers it to Norma. Their love story lasted almost a century...

...Many years later the couple found a place and a country house which they immediately fell in love with. In Montenero di Bisaccia, in Molise, where she was originally from. The house was a "place to stay in the world while feeling out of the world" and the white olive tree seed was planted.

Today, in memory of this love story, Teresa and Pierluigi have restored the house with the aim of representing the endless nuances of nature and caressed by the passages of light.

The windows and doors are as icons of the surrounding landscape, which develops from the Molise countryside to the Adriatic Sea and from the sea to the sky in a path that crosses the Gulf of Vasto, Tremiti Islands, Gargano and towards the Abruzzo's mountains. L'Ulivo Bianco wants to be, for those who stay there, an invitation to pause and relax.

A story to tell...
